Case Studies
The Collaborative of High Performance Schools has a collection of case studies regarding high performance schools that includes both K-12 and higher education facilities. These case studies are provided so that school officials can identify with both the practicality and feasibility of sustainable design implementation in their own renovations or new construction.
As the number of high performance schools grows in California, more case studies will be provided to show how high performance building features can be implemented, their consequent effects on student health and performance, and their resulting lifecycle cost savings. Optimally, all California schools will one day be included in our case studies section and will be reviewed by school affiliated officials interested in sustainable design.
